Sanibel Island Photographer and Captiva Island Photographers at South Seas Resort

We met the Cariveau family for a photography session during their vacation at the South Seas Resort back in March. Being Captiva Island Photographers in the Spring time is beautiful thing! The temperature was just right with the water still cool enough to provide the perfect sea breeze to keep everyone comfortable. The breeze did present some challenges for getting photos without hair blowing all over, but that’s not unexpected for beach photography.

Above is one of my favorite photographs from their portrait session. With the two little ones in the background playing and proud parents posing in front of the fantastic Captiva Island beach view. It does not get much better than this… Clearly they are a very blessed family!

The South Seas Resort is just past some of Captiva Island’s famous restaurants, The Mucky Duck, The Bubble Room and The Mad Hatter! Many visitors from off-island come just for the restaurants, but the best Captiva attraction (in and out of peak season) is a leisurely stroll on the tropical peaceful beach. Captiva’s beach is like a different world compared to the party scene of Fort Myers Beach…

We’ve been photographing out on Captiva Island, South Seas Resort and ‘Tween Waters quite a bit lately! And what better place for a Wedding Photographer and Family Photographers to work! It’s great to see Blind Pass open to the Gulf of Mexico again too.

For this photo shoot we met Mike, Khan, Justin and Ashley at South Seas for family portraits at sunset. While we couldn’t exactly see the tropical-island sun as it was setting this time, it did create some beautiful pink, purple and blue clouds… The evening on Captiva’s Beach was very tranquil and relaxing — its sometimes easy to forget you are actually working!

South Seas Resort Captiva Island Florida Photographer – Family Photography

Looking at online photos of the South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island, you can’t tell just how large the property is. When we met up with Christy and Ron for their Family Photography, we drove over a mile from the gatehouse to South Seas’ Bayside Marina. We started with family portraits at the T Dock and worked our way to Sunset Beach, which, as you can see in the second photograph below, lived up to its name!

It’s always great having repeat clients like Christy and Ron. They now have a new addition to the family since the last time we photographed their Captiva Island vacation!

Fort Myers Baby Photographer – Gabriella by Newborn Photographer Erin

Gabriella’s newborn photography session! You may remember Christy and Darin’s recent maternity session on Fort Myers Beach. Well, we’re pleased to announce that they’re tickled pink with the birth of Gabriella! As always, we had a great time during the photo session. Before we arrived for the shoot we had planned to take a photo of Christy and Darin’s rings on Gabriella’s hands or feet. What made the picture even more dramatic was the size of Darin’s wedding ring! His ring had to be the largest size we’ve ever seen! It had such a great photographic effect on little Gabriella’s foot!

There are so many Naples beach photography options for the Naples photographer. These beaches include: Wiggins Pass Beach, Vanderbilt Beach, Lowdermik Park photography, Naples Beach Photography or just a few miles away in Bonita Springs, Barefoot Beach.

For the Abels family vacationing at Pelican Bay, the Pelican Bay North Beach was the perfect setting for their family portraits. It was raining most of the day, but it did let up long enough to get their photography in and made for some very picturesque clouds!

We hadn’t been to Pelican Bay in a long time; it’s situated between the Naples Grande Beach Resort and the Ritz-Carlton Naples Resort. We discovered just a short walk away the new Strada at Mercato. In addition to Whole Foods Market, which we love, there are several new restaurants! Did I ever mention we are foodies? McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood, AZN Pan-Asian, Piola pizzeria and The Pub Naples give us lots of restaurants to try.
