Boca Grande Wedding Photographer on Gasparilla Island

Have you been to Boca Grande? Let us take you there with some of our Boca Grande Wedding Photography on Gasparilla Island.

I’m certain that some photographers like the consistency of the same venue week after week, however, this photographer loves the variety of locations Lee County Florida provides for destination weddings.  Boca Grande certainly is a great location for wedding photography!  From the moment we arrived on Gasparilla Island, we could tell, with the many photographic qualities, this was the perfect place for a getaway wedding in Southwest Florida.

Boca Grande is on the Gulf of Mexico, about 60 miles from Fort Myers.  It was about an hour and a half drive — by car.  If you’re fortunate enough to have a boat, the ride would probably be about 30 to 45 minutes from Captiva Island.  Our drive took us from Lee County, into Charlotte County, and then back into Lee.

In many respects, Boca Grande is reminiscent of  Olde Florida.  The giant trees on Banyan Street provide a canopy which begs you to walk under them, there’s a picture-perfect, old lighthouse at Gasparilla Island State Park, a stay at the historic Gasparilla Inn located at 500 Palm Ave, Boca Grande, FL 33921  (operating since 1913), and beautiful white beaches with true-blue waters from which to watch unbelievable sunsets — sounds like a perfect place for a perfect destination wedding to me!

There are too many other Boca locations to list, but if you looking for a great place for your wedding portraits, Sam Murphy Park should not be missed. Photography at this little hidden gem, whether on the shaded grass or by the babbling fountain, will give your Boca Grande wedding photographer lots of options. Fort Myers Maternity Photographer showing Motherhood in Style!

Fort Myers maternity photographers usually don’t get to have this much fun! Arielle and Tanner’s pregnancy photo session was certainly not your typical maternity photo shoot in Fort Myers or Naples Florida.

All of the maternity photography shown below took place on Arielle and Tanner’s Ft Myers property. As you can see, they are blessed with a great location which has many photographic backdrops that this Fort Myers photographer loved! You can be the most experienced professional photographer in maternity art, but if you don’t have a client like Arielle who is willing to go out on a limb (or in this case get into their creek) it will be hard to produce original photography.

What is Motherhood in Style? I believe it is defined by the Fort Myers maternity photography below, shown in my artful style — Mom, the soon to be newborn, the peacefulness of the creek and trees, and the soft afternoon sun. A brief peaceful moment captured for all time (or at least until the rapture).

Captiva Island Photographers ‘Tween Waters Inn Wedding

The historic Tween Waters’ Wakefield Room, The Old Captiva House, Sunset Lounge and Canoe & Kayak Club banquet rooms are walking distance from their picturesque beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. Having your sunset wedding ceremony on Tween Waters Inn’s private beaches means no crowds in your photos and the reception to follow just a minutes walk away. Add in a great bride like Abby, fun groom like Taylor, Photographers from Leap Year Photography and you have everything needed for a fun wedding and fantastic photography on Captiva’s beaches!

Also with the nearby activities like the Sanibel – Captiva Nature Trail, J. Abby and Taylor’s wedding reception was held at the Canoe & Kayak Club. The ’Tween Waters Inn Island Resort is located at 15951 Captiva Drive, Captiva Island, Florida 33924. This picture was taken right after the cake cutting. To Smash Or Not To Smash? No Wedding cake smashed by this loving couple! While cake smashing sometimes makes for funny wedding photography, we’re always happy with the cake photos to end with a nice clean faced kiss.

Bonita Springs Photographer Engagement by Leap Year Photography

You would think as a Fort Myers and Bonita Springs Photographer in business for over six years I would have been to this fantastic Bonita Springs location before. However, this was the first time I’ve photographed at this spot in Bonita Springs Florida for Jenna and Derek’s engagement photography. One of the key things I look for in an e-session (Engagement Photo session) is a place with many photographer friendly backdrops in a very short walking distance and this Bonita location has it all from a beautiful creek, cool red bridge, banyan trees, train tracks and wooded paths! I’m not going to provide the location name for other photographers (although its not too hard to find), but you can bet we’ll be back with future engaged couples from the Bonita Springs and the Naples area for additional engagement photo shoots.

OK, enough about the location, with out further delay, here are a few of our favorite moments from Jenna and Derek’s session. While we will not be flying out to providing their wedding photography, I’m sure they will have a blast on 11-11-2011!!
