Gabriella’s newborn photography session! You may remember Christy and Darin’s recent maternity session on Fort Myers Beach. Well, we’re pleased to announce that they’re tickled pink with the birth of Gabriella! As always, we had a great time during the photo session. Before we arrived for the shoot we had planned to take a photo of Christy and Darin’s rings on Gabriella’s hands or feet. What made the picture even more dramatic was the size of Darin’s wedding ring! His ring had to be the largest size we’ve ever seen! It had such a great photographic effect on little Gabriella’s foot!

We love Photography on Sanibel Island! Sarah and Jason were on the Island celebrating their 10thwedding anniversary! We approached their session the same way we would for an engagement photo session on the beach – a relaxing sunset walk with a nice mix of candid and posed photography. Weddings are my favorite type of photography, but a couple in love is always something to celebrate. Sanibel Island, as always, delivered with some great shells washed up on the beach, plenty of birds to watch and the bugs even behaved. For the Abels family vacationing at Pelican Bay, the Pelican Bay North Beach was the perfect setting for their family portraits. It was raining most of the day, but it did let up long enough to get their photography in and made for some very picturesque clouds!
We hadn’t been to Pelican Bay in a long time; it’s situated between the Naples Grande Beach Resort and the Ritz-Carlton Naples Resort. We discovered just a short walk away the new Strada at Mercato. In addition to Whole Foods Market, which we love, there are several new restaurants! Did I ever mention we are foodies? McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood, AZN Pan-Asian, Piola pizzeria and The Pub Naples give us lots of restaurants to try.

I’ve said it before — Engagement Sessions are one of my favorite types of shoots! Although Kesha and Jason’s Sanibel Island shoot was a celebration of their 5 year wedding anniversary, they seemed as if they were a couple of kids just engaged. Clearly very much in love, very comfortable in front of the camera, and a blast to spend another picture perfect Sanibel Island sunset with!
