Captiva Island Photographer – Weddings too!

We’ve been photographing out on Captiva Island, South Seas Resort and ‘Tween Waters quite a bit lately! And what better place for a Wedding Photographer and Family Photographers to work! It’s great to see Blind Pass open to the Gulf of Mexico again too.

For this photo shoot we met Mike, Khan, Justin and Ashley at South Seas for family portraits at sunset. While we couldn’t exactly see the tropical-island sun as it was setting this time, it did create some beautiful pink, purple and blue clouds… The evening on Captiva’s Beach was very tranquil and relaxing — its sometimes easy to forget you are actually working!

Kathryn and Anthony’s Wedding! (Our Lady of Light & Bonita Springs Elks Lodge)

Kathryn and Anthony had a great wedding at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Estero with their reception following at the Bonita Springs Elks Lodge. Not long ago we photographed Kathryn and Anthony’s engagement in downtown fort myers and couldn’t be happier to share in their wedding, too!

Sanibel Island Wedding Photography

November 21, 2009 – 10:40 am

I titled this one Sanibel Island Wedding Photography, but actually Katherina and Volker were here for a Honeymoon from Germany! So this really was a Trash the Dress (sans any real trashing) or a Day After session. We always find the best lighting for beach photography is either sunset or sunrise. For their photography session we chose the Sanibel Island Lighthouse beach at sunrise (about 6:45 AM on this day). It was a perfect Sanibel Island day too! Not many people on the beach, the air was nice and cool for most of the photo shoot and this photographer had a great time!
